Dehumidifier
What is a dehumidifier?
A dehumidifier is used to quickly dry or maintain a constant humidity level in premises. The dehumidifier is an effective device for combating water-logged air, which can lead to respiratory problems and mold growth.
When should a dehumidifier be used?
Dehumidifiers are widely used in sectors such as building and civil engineering. They are used to dry out work areas, or to dehumidify wet storage areas, for example. They can also be used in offices, excessively humid areas, reception halls, basements, gymnasiums and warehouses.
How does it work?
The humid ambient air is drawn in by the fan, then filtered and passed over an evaporator where it cools to a temperature below the dew point. Moisture condensed as water is collected in a built-in storage tank or discharged directly to the outside of the unit via a drain hose.
