OIL-FIRED HOT AIR GENERATOR
How the oil-fired furnace works
Hot air generators are often used in industrial settings for large volumes ranging from 1,000 m3 to 100,000 m3. The combustion of these heaters is indirect, which means that the burnt gases are separated from the heated air. The combustion gases pass through a heat exchanger and are then vented to the outside via a chimney. This system allows you to heat your premises quickly.
Depending on the energy available, this hot air generator is equipped with either an oil burner or a gas burner (natural or propane). POLYPOLES recommends Weishaupt burners for their reliability and robustness. The furnaces are fixed and are installed either indoors or outdoors. It is important to comply with ERP (Etablissements recevant du public) standards. Boiler room or 5 m for CTS.
The warm air is then blown into the volume to be heated, either directly through adjustable heads, or through a plenum and a network of flexible or rigid ducts.
The air entering the unit can either come from outside to provide fresh air, or it can be recycled. This last point ensures significant energy savings.
What are the advantages of POLYPOLES furnaces?
Manufactured in France, our generators are made from high-quality components. First of all, the combustion chamber and heat exchanger are made of stainless steel. This makes them extremely durable, ensuring long life. The body is in pre-painted sheet metal, with double-skin insulation as standard. (see data sheet)
POLYPOLES furnaces can be either vertical or horizontal, depending on the installation configuration. For outdoor versions, a complete cabin with burner and electrical cabinet protection is available as an option.
The fans meet the requirements of the ERP 2013/2015 standard. A variable speed drive can be added to create a gradual increase in ventilation speed. (ideal for flexible sheaths).
They can be controlled by any type of thermostat or regulator. A BMS can be connected as an option.
A DAD smoke detection system can be integrated into ERP systems.
Air filters can also be fitted to the air intake.
The furnaces are available for sale or hire, with turnkey installation services.
