LOSC - Infrared heating for training room and dressing room

Realization

Polypoles was asked to heat a structure used as changing rooms and a training room by the LOSC soccer team.

To provide all the comfort you need, the option of infrared heating was proposed and chosen, as it offers a number of advantages, particularly in these times of pandemic. This solution is ideal because there is no air movement. Thank you for trusting us with this beautiful project.

A quick reminder: what is infrared heating?

Infrared heating is an increasingly popular heating technique. Unlike conventional heating.
Infrared heating doesn’t work by convection, but by radiation.
So, instead of heating the air in an entire room, you heat the bodies and objects in it directly, using less energy and diffusing a pleasant warmth like the sun’s rays.
Depending on the configuration of the room, its height and the desired temperature, the power required is between 100 and 300W per m2 to be heated.
